Activity Based Learning & Development Training

Pure Adventure organises a variety of outdoor training options for teams to experience, providing a unique method of enhancing communication skills, performance and confidence when trying out challenging, but fun activities.

Perhaps you want to give something back to your staff as a way of thanking them for their loyalty and hard work, and engaging your colleagues in exciting new adventures underlines your company culture of working together for team success.


Kayaking Development Skills

This is a six week course, run after work on a weekday in June and July, for two hours each session.

Our qualified BCU instructors will teach the group about water safety when kayaking, and every week the group will learn new stroke techniques which will improve their confidence and abilities in this sport. The group will kayak in a different location each time, including the opportunity to explore some of the north coast caves and historic coastal forts.

This course will suit novice kayakers who will benefit from building on their knowledge each week and ultimately become proficient kayakers in most sea conditions.

Booking Information

Sea Kayaking session includes: Full instruction, kayak equipment, wetsuit, buoyancy aids, and helmet (you may bring your own wetsuit)

Sea Kayaking venues:  St Brelade’s Bay, Ouaisne, St Catherine’s Breakwater, Archirondel, St.Aubin's Bay, Greve de Lecq

What you need to bring with you: Swimwear, a towel, trainers/wetsuit boots to wear in the sea.  Sunscreen is also advised for sunny days. 

Cost: £160 per person for a 6 week course

Duration: 2 hours per evening session

Times: 18:00 - 20:00pm

Group size: minimum 8, maximum 14

Kayaking Development Skills

This is a six week course where qualified BCU instructors will teach the group about water safety and a variety of simple stroke skills when kayaking on sit on top kayaks within Jersey’s sheltered bays. As the level of confidence and technique improves the group will be able to kayak in some of the prettier north coastal locations, including cave excursions and visiting some of the historic coastal forts.

This course would suit novice kayakers who can benefit from building on their knowledge each week and ultimately to become proficient when kayaking in all sea conditions.

Each week the kayaking venue will change and new stroke techniques will be taught.
