If you want an adrenaline rush of epic proportions and excitement … then take the Abseil descent!

Abseiling involves instruction from your Abseil leader on how to safely lower yourself down a rock face or tower with the ropes set up so that you are in control of your own descent. It is the perfect opportunity to try and overcome a fear of heights, while having an awesome time. By the end of each descent, you will be running back up for more!

The Abseil is set up at one of our historic landmarks on the stunning south west coast of Jersey, Noirmont point. We guide all participants down the walls of the German Command Observation Tower which is a remarkable structure built during the Channel Island Occupation.

Abseil session includes: Full instruction, abseiling equipment and safety gear

Abseiling venues: German Observation Tower at Norimont Point, St Brelade

Other possible rock face Abseil venues: St Catherine’s Bay, Ouaisne Bay

We have been visiting Jersey for our family summer holiday for the last 3 years and love it. The last two years our twin children have spent the first week of the holiday at the Pure Adventure Holiday Club. They have taken part in some really great adventurous activities, sea canoeing, coasteering, blow karting, abseiling down sea cliffs, cycling, just to name a few. The instructors really make them welcome and make the days so much fun. Our children love it so much that they’ve insisted we book them in for when we return again this year.
